A beautiful shallow dive with abundant marine life in a cove between Legrena and Sounio.

It has no shipwreck

Leave your car at the opening next to the road. Alternatively, if you have a 4×4, you can descend from the dirt path with your car to avoid carrying equipment. Be cautious as weather conditions can create water runoff, making access difficult.

THE COAST

The coastline is rocky, requiring caution during access. However, there is a flat plateau that you can use to prepare your equipment. If a friend who doesn’t dive is accompanying you, it’s advisable for them to bring their mask because the morphology of the site is quite interesting.

ENTRY TO THE SEA

We will swim on the surface for a short distance with our left shoulder facing the road. After approximately 100 meters, we descend to a beautiful monolith located at a depth of 5 meters.

THE DIVE

We follow a vertical path towards the road with a heading of 200-210 degrees, encountering a small underwater ridge that is quite distinguishable. Beyond the intriguing morphology, this spot hosts a beautiful marine life, including various nudibranchs, especially “ageladitses,” and abundant small sea creatures. As we reach the end of the underwater ridge, pay attention to the large cracks under the rocks.

The dive is relatively shallow, with a maximum depth of 18 to 20 meters. Therefore, you’ll have plenty of air for exploration and observation.
