From your parking place, unload your equipment and continue walking south as much as you want. The diving site is close to the nearby rocks so you can either walk or swim the distance. The choice is yours.

THE COAST

This beach is ideal for non-divers, as it is a beautiful sandy beach which is rarely overcrowded. Also you can stock up on essentials from the nearby café and choose whether to enjoy the comforts of the sun lounger or not.

ENTRY TO THE SEA

After setting up your equipment and performing the pre-diving checks, enter the water. Do a buddy check and swim on the surface. The distance to the entry point is quite long and we recommend you save your air for something more than a sandy seabed. The reef is just before the second rocks you will encounter, but we suggest you dive in between and follow an underwater course at 12 meters having the shore to your left.

THE DIVE

After a few minutes of swimming underwater, at a depth of about 13 meters, you will see the emblematic reef rocks rising, interrupting the repetitive pattern of sand and vegetation. These rocks continue to a satisfactory extent reaching 30 meters in depth and hosting plenty of marine life. We usually follow a counterclockwise course around the reef, but you can explore it any way you want as it is hard to get lost. You will find plenty of vegetation, some forgotten nets that have been integrated with the environment, several spiral tube worms, many small fish and in general a beautiful place to explore.

Like all dives of the Pagasetic gulf, there is a good chance that you will encounter blurry waters. Adjust the distances you keep with your partner accordingly, especially if you have photographers in the company, as you can lose your buddy easily.

When you reach 100 bar you can start the ascent and you will soon reach the point where you first met the rocks. Follow the opposite course having the shore on your right shoulder and depth close to 5 meters. This way you can make your safety stop as you head towards the surface
