A dive suitable for all levels of training. Maximum depth is at 18 meters, where all the interest lies due to the great variety of marine life. In the broader area of the Laganas Gulf, fishing is prohibited, and there is a possibility of encountering the loggerhead sea turtle.
It is an easy dive in terms of depth but challenging in terms of orientation because there are many paths to follow. The good thing is that it is not sandy, so you can use some rocks as reference points.
One of my favorite and most entertaining spots on the island, we usually go there for the second dive.
Up to 20m depth
By boat
Up to 10m of swimming
No amenities
It has no shipwreck
You can access this area only by boat
THE COAST
The area has a beautiful seabed and would be ideal for snorkeling, but the frequent movement of rented boats, especially during the summer months, makes it quite dangerous.
ENTRY TO THE SEA
Entry into the water starts from about 7-10 meters and deepens slowly.
THE DIVE
There are two routes to follow: one is a slalom around the rocks, and the other is to go around a large rock perimeter. Both routes are very nice with a great variety of marine life, including turtles, moray eels, nudibranchs, etc. In some crevices in the rocks, corals have formed. Truly, these are dives that I never want to end.
