One of the most popular dives in Attica is the wreck of “Kyra Leni” near the island of Patroklos. The ship sank in January 1978 after a fierce storm while on a route from Lavrio to Bulgaria.

The narrow cove next to the wreck creates a natural harbor that protects the vessel from the weather.

THE COAST

Those who don’t dive can snorkel or simply enjoy their swim from the boat. The shore is extremely rocky, and access is difficult.

ENTRY TO THE SEA

Prepare from the boat and enter the sea, do all the checks, and dive straight in.

THE DIVE

The underwater terrain will lead you to the depths, and you’ll encounter the wreck in front of you. It is split into two parts, with a minimum depth of 18 meters and a maximum of 30 meters. Be cautious about your buoyancy when passing over the cut metal parts of the ship, and it is recommended to use gloves and a full-body suit.
